Easy Internet Order Status

You can now let your customers view order status and shipping information for jobs created in the Job Trac System by subscribing to the Bacon Software Easy Internet Order Status site.  For a low monthly fee this will provide your company with the following:

1. Secure Internet based order status for your customers.
2. No need for your own hosting, web pages or internet databases.  Just send your customers the link to the order status page, or create a link from your existing site.

3. Allow your customers to retrieve order status based on PO Number, Part Number, Job Number, or Quote Number.
4. Complete shipping information shown including tracking numbers that link to shipper web sites.
5. Order Status indicated as “Order Entry”, “Engineering”, “Manufacturing”, “Packaging” or “Shipped”
6. Your customers may request an email message to be sent to them automatically when the order ships.
7. Just 4 simple screens to use for order status!

The following screen images show how your customers can view their order status:
(Your company name would display instead AT&T Bell Laboratories)

1.  Your customer signs on to the order status page using your Company ID, their Customer ID as you have entered in JTS and a password you assign to them in JTS.

2.  Your customer selects the selection criteria to view orders and clicks Search.

3. A summary of orders is displayed based on the search criteria.  Your customer may click on any order for more details or click on the tracking number to display tracking information on the shippers site!

 4.  If the order is clicked then a graphical detail screen is displayed.  Your customer may register to have an e-mail message sent automatically when the order ships.  Tracking numbers are also shown on the bottom of the screen that link directly to the shippers web site.
